
Music Technology Club is a national, online after-school programme and one-to-one tutoring for young people aged 11–16, built to be accessible, affordable, and truly engaging. It’s designed for learners of all backgrounds — whether they’re budding producers, singers, songwriters, rappers, DJs or instrumentalists — and offers a safe, creative environment to explore music production, composition and sound design.
This is part of the Education & Bass Group, which has been at the forefront of online and blended music education for nearly 8 years, working across mainstream schools, SEND and SEMH settings, alternative provision, and even prison education. The Education & Bass Group team brings together professional educators and active industry specialists who understand how to support and inspire young people from all walks of life.
Summer Term Details:
- Wednesdays, 4:15–5:15 PM BST | Starting 7 May 2025 (more days and times will open up based on demand)
- 10 weeks of live online sessions | £75 per learner
- Beginner-friendly and inclusive — no previous experience needed
- Uses free, browser-based tools — no specialist software or equipment required
- Focused on practical creativity: music production, composition, sound design, beat-making, and more
- Supports all musical styles and learner journeys

Free Online Taster Session & Q&A – Wednesday 24 April, 6:00–6:45 PM
Before committing, parents, carers and learners are invited to join our free online taster session and Q&A. Taking place on Wednesday 16th April from 6–7 PM, this informal session is a chance to meet the tutor, see how the club works, and ask any questions. It’s a perfect opportunity for families to get a feel for what’s involved and what learners will gain from the experience.
