Guildhall Young Artists is Guildhall School’s network of centres across the country, providing inspiring performing arts training for children and young people. Our Taunton centre offers a range of classes and performance opportunities for all 5–18-year-olds, in music and drama, on Saturdays in term time, and short holiday courses. Guildhall School of Music & Drama is ranked number one in Arts, Drama & Music by the Complete University Guide 2023, one of the top ten performing arts institutions in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2023, as well as the number one higher education institution in the Guardian University Guide music league table. On Saturdays during term time, GYA Taunton offers a range of classes and performance opportunities for 5–18-year-olds in Drama and Music. Based at Richard Huish College in Taunton, young musicians, singers and actors can develop their creativity and access high-quality training with top practitioners and industry professionals, across a variety of styles and genres. With no auditions or previous experience necessary and generous bursaries for tuition and travel, GYA Taunton is a great way for local children and young people to access Guildhall School’s world-class performing arts training, make friends and have lots of fun.
